Who We Are
Justin Rekieta: Justin is the owner and operator of College Ambitions LLC. He graduated Valedictorian of Lakeview Centennial H.S. in Garland Texas in 1999. He has a B.S. in Cognitive Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Currently he provides any and all of the instruction to the students within his programs.
He started in the test prep field in 2005 as an instruction for a large nationwide test prep company. He first taught SAT/PSAT curriculum in Dallas area public high school under a partnership the company had with the DISD. While in that role in the evenings he also taught SAT retail classes consisting of 8-12 students. Due to his excellent student evaluations and extremely high score improvements by 2006 Justin earned a promotion from a teacher to a standard tutor for the SAT while concurrently serving as a Math/Physics department head for a Dallas area private high school.
By 2007 Justin earned another promotion to become a master tutor for the SAT, while also becoming one of only four Dallas based SAT instructors to be cross-trained as ACT instructors. Furthering his career, in 2008 he earned the title of SAT Master Trainer for the company. This promotion allowed him to train and certify new DFW area SAT retail instructors. By the end of the same year, he was promoted yet again to the title of ACT Master Tutor, and by 2009 he earned the title of ACT Master Trainer. This promotion allowed him to train and certify new DFW area ACT retail instructors. At that point, Justin was the only dual certified SAT/ACT Master Tutor/Trainer in the company. He continued his dual roles as tutor and teacher trainer with the company until 2011. After that time, he left the test prep company to focus on developing his own test prep programs. In 2012, after his personal tutoring business began to thrive, Justin left his Math/Physics teaching position to focus solely on his growing test prep business. Currently his focuses are his loving family and College Ambitions LLC.
Justin has helped over 1200 families over the last thirteen years in the test prep industry. He has helped multiple students earn perfect scores on the SAT and ACT. After going through his complete test prep programs over ¼ of his students earn top 1% scores on the SAT and ACT. His experience and success levels in the test prep industry are simply unequaled.
Justin lives in Sunnyvale TX. He has a wife named Brandi, a son named Kellan, and a daughter named Dylan.
